Hard to imagine how the iPad interface could get any better--but it is regularly tweaked to make it even easier to use. Use it everyday. The iPhone version is excellent too, and well designed for smaller screens.

Thanks for great app. I enjoy NYT everyday. But please fix following phenomenon : while tap and hold to look a word in a dictionary , the page scrolls automatically and not intended way so I cannot use dictionary properly. Its real annoying .

Cant download from icloud, on ipad ios8, need an update

Hi-quality content. But after early 2014 update, it is much more difficult to quickly switch between sections. Pity.

App starts, but no content shown

I like this newspaper app. Even though i use a free version, it still gives lots of top news to read (about 20 at a time). And they update and add new ones constantly. I dont think i will be subscribing though...just the sheer amount of stuff to read will probably be overwhelming. 5 star from me.

This app shouldnt be stated as a free one! It wouldnt let me read a single article! The page was blocked by a pop-up window saying "if you wanna go on reading - please pay" :/ The interface is pretty, though :))

I cant work with this program. Since the last update its started to freeze and it hangs whenever I try to scroll to another section or open an article. Please do something and fix it, otherwise the subscription is useless. The previous version worked just fine.

Very bad app

I dont know if I like it as much as the Air version which seems more similar to a paper layout. All and all its a hell of a nice effort to tackle a new media. Will it be posible in 2011 to just subscribe to the Sunday paper or does it follow the air version approach?

I have already unlimited digital access to NYT. But when I bought the iPad and installed the app in the Newsstand, the app takes my logon id but still does not give me access to all sections. This must be a bug.

I downloaded the app and it just keeps loading without showing any news. Fix it pls

I am sorry. I did enjoy very much the app but the new iOS7 version is terrible. Yes, its white. But it is not a newspaper anymore. It does not have any personality nor feel. No connection between pieces or sections. The vertical scrolling does me feel lost, without any hierarchy in the news. It is pointless to have all the news thats fit to print if you just publish them one over the other. I am sorry but after one year of very good reading I will stop my subscription. I do hope that some guy from new york will read this and think about it. If I want a native digital app there are plenty of them. From the Times I want something else. Something that I can "touch and feel". This kind of app I fear is a dead end.

In this new version I cannot find anymore all the articles that I saved in the previous version. I have lost them! Please fix it! Furthermore, I cannot see any real improvement in this new version, only a useless restyling.

Make it work on os 6, since 7 is useless

Very interesting But why is it so easy to understand subscribing offers and why i have Difficulties to unsubscribe?
